When you first light your candle, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the can to prevent tunneling.
Do not leave the candles unattended. Never burn your candle for any more than 2 hours at a time. Always place candles on a heat-resistant coaster, above a leveled and stable surface.
Use a candle snuffer if available – this is the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering. Leave the candle to cool for at least 45 minutes before handling. Trim your wick to ¼ in. for your next burn for optimal flame height and to prevent smoke stains.
Keep your candles out of direct sunlight and store them in a cool place.
